It seems unlikely that an older game is requiring a higher firmware than you have, but new games would show this issue too if the firmware was too old. For everyone still having this issue: after i tried to uninstall EmulationStation DE my roms did not show up in the rom manager anymore, the quick reset and custom reset did nothing for me. I removed every rom i still hat left from steam and i had to completely reinstall EmuDeck.

In the screen where you would normally download another controller config, in the top you can change priority from steam deck to controller. Try it out.Resetting Yuzu and removing the cache did help. I think I might have found the solution. Turns out there were some extra files in Yuzu's "keys" folder that were not suppossed to be there. All I left was the "prod.keys" file and everything went smooth after that. For some reason, those extra files allowed to install every other DLC except for Byleth.
