Nov 5, 2023 · It shows Plugin Initialization Failed for FFXIV_ACT_Plugin.dll on the Plugins tab, has a completely empty FFXIV Process ID dropdown under FFXIV Settings (not even an spontaneous option!), and generally doesn't parse DPS. This happens after certain game updates where the game launcher itself is and patched.

The first thing to check is to see if your game in question is actually writing to a log file. If ACT's title bar does not say "Log Active" in it, you may have the wrong log file opened or the game is not actually writing to that (or any) file.
